Today was a beautiful day and it feels as though spring is almost here. I even put a way our shovel in hopes that would thwart any of mother nature's attempts to blanket us again with the white stuff.
I had an interview yesterday for a landscape company in the area. It went really well and the owner seems like a pretty descent guy. Still haven't decided what I am doing in April yet but, it is nice to have options. One thing I excel at is interviews. For whatever reason, I have never felt any pressure in the majority of interviews I have had. Just wish I could be that relaxed when I was actually working. Ah well, is the way she goes.
Only a few days left till we leave for Kingston. Can't wait to see my bro Ryan and hopefully cheer on the Spartans to another national championship. Will also be great to see Rudy who plays right side for them. I went on a mission trip to Panama and Costa Rica a few years back with Athletes in Action. Ryan was with me and that is where I met Rudy. He is an amazing person and will be nice to catch up.
Finished reading " Cycling Home From Siberia" by Rob Lilwall the other day. It is an amazing story of the trials and tribulations of his journey on a bike for 30,000 miles. He met so many amazing people on his journey and taught me that perceptions are often misguided versions of reality. I highly recommend reading it as it flows effortlessly from one adventure to another.
There are people in life who live great adventures and those that read about them. I hope one day I can live one similar to Rob.
Gonna watch the Leafs continue their downward spiral tonight. Hope whoever is reading this is having a happy Tuesday. Night.
